Couples Retreat 2017

Couples Retreat Registration

The dates are March 31 through April 2, 2017! Find a babysitter for the kids and come enjoy a weekend together! Camrec is hosting its first Couples Retreat.

There will be sessions led by Carl Westphal, retired psychologist from Seattle Mennonite Church. These interactive sessions will cover topics like relationship needs, expectations, and assumptions; intimacy as it relates to boundaries and identity: exploring the role of forgiveness and clarifying what that means; and contemplating the toxic roles of competition and contempt in relationships.

There will be time to relax around the property, take hikes, and enjoy Camrec’s removed setting. Be prepared to pitch in for meal clean up, but take a breath knowing Camrec will provide for all end-of-retreat cleaning except your cabin area! Come take advantage of this time to grow together and learn more about working as a collaborative team. Take note this retreat is not intended to replace couples therapy for those whose relationships are struggling, but it is aimed at improving already functional relationships.

Cost for the full weekend is $150 per couple; includes lodging, meals, and a professional guiding thoughtful conversation. Space is limited to 12 couples, so please send in your registrations to reserve your spot!

Bring sheets and feel free to pull the beds together for this one!
