Summer Staff

Registration Deadline: June 25th, 2017. Please have your registration sent to camp by then so we can be sure to plan accordingly. Thank you! It is much appreciated.

What to bring to camp: Bible, flashlight, water bottle, jacket, swimsuit (ladies one-piece), rain gear (note: swimwear and other clothing should be suitably modest). Sleeping bag & pillow, towels, soap, etc., old clothes, sturdy shoes, sun screen & bug repellent.

What NOT to bring to camp: electronic gear (phone’s, audio players, games), fireworks, knives, candy & other snack foods.

Staff Orientation
All staff (CIT’s encouraged but not required)
July 3-6
Orientation is a training time to unite the staff and have a fuller understanding of what it means to “nurture children in the love of God, the love of others, and the love of creation!”

Pre-Junior Camp
Completed grades K - 2
July 7-9
(Arrive 4 pm Friday, Depart 11:30 am Sunday)
$96 (plus $48 for each adult or sibling)
This weekend offers campers and their parents/guardians an opportunity to become familiar with the Camrec summer camp experience. Meadow games, crafts, bible, and more! Campers get to sleep in cabins with other campers and their counselor while having the peace of mind they get to see their parents every day! Parents/guardians follow a separate but complementary schedule to their kids which allows for collaboration on some acitivities, and also some down time to rejuvenate. Parents willing to volunteer are a huge help and contribute to keeping our registration fees low. Children may register alone or with a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc. Siblings of campers are also welcome to attend and join in on the activities!
Limit 30 campers.

Junior Camp
Completed grades 3 - 5
July 11-15
(Arrive 4 pm Tuesday, Depart 11:30 am Saturday)
$190
This five-day camp includes most of our favorite activities such as group games in the meadow, day trips to Lake Wenatchee, campfire, chapel, nature, and crafts. Don’t miss it!
Limit 40 campers.

Junior High Camp
Completed grades 6 - 8
July 17-22
(Arrive 4 pm Monday, Depart 11:30 am Saturday)
$236
Building friendships, outpost camp sleeping under the stars, capture the flag, skit night, campfire worship, day trips to Lake Wenatchee, and tubing on the refreshing waters of the Wenatchee River make this week unforgettable!

Senior High Camp
Completed grades 9-11
July 24-29
(Arrive 4 pm Monday, Depart 11:30 am Saturday)
$236
All the classic camp activities plus more! Day trips, camp games, bible discussions, challenge course elements, etc. We’ll have an overnight at Outpost Camp this year, aaaand we plan to take advantage of some local rock climbing opportunities!
Limit 40 campers.

Discounts

  • A $10 “Early Bird” discount is available for registrations submitted by May 1st.
  • A $15 “Bring a Friend” discount is available to returning campers who bring a friend who has never before attended Camp Camrec and who does not attend a Washington Mennonite Fellowship (WMF) member church.
  • A $15 “First Timer” discount for those of you coming to Camp Camrec for the first time.
  • Financial assistance is available through some churches. Please ask yours. If you are not associated with a Church or it is not available, please let us know on your registration and we’ll be in touch!
  • Get Involved

    Registration fees only cover a portion of summer camp expenses. To keep our program strong, please consider volunteering or donating funds to cover summer programs. We rely on qualified and dedicated staff recruited carefully from colleges, universities, and WMF member churches.
