Summer Staff

Our theme this summer will be “Take Me to the Water: God’s Love Flows”. Campers will dive into stories from the Bible that use water to show God’s gift of life and blessing.

What to bring to camp: Bible, flashlight, Jacket, swimsuit, rain gear (note: swimwear and other clothing should be suitably modest). Sleeping bag & pillow, towels, soap, etc., old clothes sturdy shoes, sun screen & bug repellent.

What NOT to bring to camp: electronic gear (audio players, games), fireworks, candy & other snack foods.

Junior High Camp
Entering grades 7, 8 & 9
July 9-14
(Arrive 4 pm Monday, Depart 11:30 am Saturday)
$130
Building friendships, capture the flag, skit night, campfire, day trips to Lake Wenatchee, and/or other off-campus adventures make these six days unforgettable.
Limit 20 campers.

Senior High Camp
Entering grades 10, 11 & 12
July 9-14
(Arrive 4 pm Monday, Depart 11:30 am Saturday)
$130
This week includes all of our favorite camp activities plus a bonus off-campus adventure. Mealtimes and day trips to Lake Wenatchee will be scheduled with the Junior High Camp. However, there will be plenty of activities arranged just for Senior High.
Limit 20 campers.

Junior Camp
Entering grades 4, 5 & 6
July 17 - 21
(Arrive 4 pm Tuesday, Depart 11:30 am Saturday)
$115
This five-day camp includes most of our favorite activities such as group games in the meadow, day trips to Lake Wenatchee, campfire, chapel, nature, and crafts.
Limit 40 campers.

Pre-Junior Camp
Entering grades 1, 2 & 3
July 27-29
(Arrive 4 pm Friday, Depart 11:30 am Sunday)
$50 (plus $25 for each adult or sibling)
This weekend offers campers and their parents an opportunity to become familiar with the Camrec summer camp experience. Campers are assigned to cabin groups, and parents are encouraged to join other volunteers to staff the camp. Parent involvement helps to keep our registration fees low and it’s a lot of fun. Children may register alone or with a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc.
Limit 30 campers.

Discounts

  • A $5 early bird discount is available for registrations submitted by June 1st.
  • A $5 “Bring a Friend” discount is available to returning campers who bring a friend who has never before attended Camp Camrec and who does not attend a Washington Mennonite Fellowship (WMF) member church.
  • Financial assistance is available through some churches. Please ask yours.

    Registration fees only cover a portion of summer camp expenses. To keep our program strong, please consider volunteering or donating funds to hire summer staff. We rely on qualified and dedicated staff recruited carefully from colleges, universities, and WMF member churches.
