WHAT: A gathering of CAMREC supporters to care for camp and enjoy the peaceful natural setting.
WHO: All are welcome
COST: Lodging is FREE and food will be donation based with a suggested amount of $30 per person ($20 per child under the age of 12).
FOOD: A menu and ingredients will be provided by camp for 4 meals starting with Saturday breakfast and ending with Sunday breakfast. All participants are encouraged to take a turn helping prepare meals, setting up for them, and cleaning up after them. A sign up sheet will be provided on-site. If anyone in your group has any dietary needs, please make note of them on the registration form.
WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Friday Afternoon / Evening:
- Arrive / get settled in any time after 2:00 pm
- Explore the grounds, take a walk, connect with other participants
- Bring your own evening meal or enjoy the provided snacks
- Relax by the fire, get out your favorite games, get some music going
Saturday:
- 8:00 — Breakfast
- 9:00 — Service (e.g. cleaning, maintenance, repair)
- 12:00 — Lunch
- 1:00 — Continued service projects and/or recreation (e.g. hiking, gaga ball, pickle ball, soccer)
- 6:00 — Dinner
- 7:00 — Board Meeting or Free Time (e.g. games, conversation)
Sunday:
- 8:00 — Breakfast
- 9:30 – Contemplative nature hike or local worship service in Leavenworth
** You are welcome to stay for the rest of the day, but there are no more planned group meals or activities unless group projects are coordinated by interested volunteers. **
