Camp runs by the dedication of permanent and summer staff. Working at camp is a life changing opportunity to connect to place, learn new skills, and enjoy community together.

  • Assistant Program Director

    Timeframe: July 2026

    CAMREC is seeking summer staff with a desire to enrich the lives of youth through recreation, fellowship, and worship in an outdoor setting. We offer youth programs covering grades 1 through 12 over approximately four weeks of summer camp. 

Summer Staff

  • Summer Program Volunteer

    Timeframe: July 2026

    Below is a list of different ways to get involved and a brief description of the roles:

    Medic: present throughout the camp duration to administer medications, provide first aid care, etc., must a certified medical professional.
    Kitchen leader or helper: help to prepare all meals throughout the camp duration
    Lifeguard: present at all water activities to help create a safe experience (lake front, river tubing, etc.), must be certified through a nationally recognized program
    Pastor: lead Bible discussions, share stories, lead skits, etc. during daily Camp Fire and bible sessions
    Crafts leader: lead multiple craft sessions (can be creative with different ideas related to camp theme)
    Nature leader: lead multiple nature sessions
    Music leader: lead music at Morning Watch and Camp Fire every day

  • Counselor in Training

    Timeframe: July 2026

    CAMREC is seeking summer staff with a desire to enrich the lives of youth through recreation, fellowship, and worship in an outdoor setting. We offer youth programs covering grades 1 through 12 over approximately four weeks of summer camp.

  • Cabin Counselor

    Timeframe: July 2026

    Summer Cabin Counselor is a leadership position working directly and carefully with the campers, channeling their energy and learning with them.  This is a pivotal role for both the camper and the counseler
